How I have grown this year...
I have grown as an athlete this year by not only improving my athletic ability but I have grown as a student-athlete as well. Last year I struggled with keeping a balance between sports and school. I learned from my previous experience that using class time wisely is key component to finding the perfect balance. This year I have tried to stay on top of work, and get as much done as I can with the class time I have. This has helped immensely and I plan to continue this process. As an athlete, working hard and setting goals for myself has allowed me to improve. This year, as an athlete a big part of progressing is trying new things. In my case I took up swimming, which I had never done before. I think taking this opportunity to meet new people and try something different was a good thing for me; it opened my eyes to the different things that high school has to offer. It also showed me that it is never too late to try something new! I hope to continue growing as an athlete and anticipate a successful year with the combination of school and sports. |

I feel misunderstood when things don't go my way, and I can be easily discouraged.

Others could be friendly and open to understand me better.

Drivers: Stay on task more
Analytical: Be more focused and quiet
Amiables: Be more sympathetic and supportive
Expressives: Be optimistic
6. When you are stressed – what behaviors will people see? What causes you to go into “stress behavior”? When you are stressed what can people do to best support you?
People will see a very sassy, driven side of me. I become stressed from being overwhelmed with work or frustration, people can best support me by being corporative and calm.
